A quarantined planet.
An all-engulfing city they that live there have come to call ‘The Irons’--irons that chain, irons that spike upwards and stab at the sky as if to puncture holes through which one might escape…
But few escape the city.
Few are rich enough.
The Irons has more than it’s share of gang warfare, crime and murder. Leto is one of the few that choose to investigate such things in the desperate hope that she may one day earn enough money to buy herself freedom, and leave the city forever.
